Kingsbrae Garden is approximately 2.5 hours from Moncton and one hour from Saint-John. The entry fee is valid for 2 consecutive days. We spent 3 hours while we visited in late June. We had wanted to go for many years and we were finally there. We enjoyed everything but didn’t have enough time to visit the Café, the art gallery and plant store. Everything is worth checking out at the Garden, even the Washrooms!

If you look carefully, tucked away, there is a secret garden. It is easy to miss and as we entered this section, we had to hide from the rain under a tree. They do provide umbrellas at the admission center for rainy days: don’t let the rain cancel your visit!

There were some llamas and donkeys and ducks to visit with. They seemed happy to have guests and we made sure we brought a little gift like all guests should do. Like if you are ever on Come Dine With Me Canada you should bring a gift! Our gift is some plump and juicy dandelion leaves…oh they just love to munch those!

There is a working windmill at the garden and as it turns it pumps water with a screw pump into the pond. It was so lovely with all the flowers in bloom and all the colors rippling in the sun. We feel like we’re in another time and place!

We spend 3 hours at the garden and will certainly want to come back and probably spend the hole day! There are so many neat flowers and plants and the gardeners working during our visit were happy to talk about the plants and flowers.
